Club Introduction
Founded in 1976 and based in Dorking, Surrey, Ashcombe Volleyball Club is one of the most recognised and respected volleyball clubs in England. With decades of competitive success, player development, and community involvement, the club has built a strong reputation both on and off the court.
For nearly 40 years, Ashcombe competed at the highest levels of English volleyball, winning multiple league titles and National Knock Out Cup championships. The club has also achieved national success across youth categories, including U15, U16, and U18 competitions.
Today, Ashcombe Volleyball Club continues to provide a high standard of competitive volleyball, with teams competing in the National Volleyball League Women’s Division 2 South, the Surrey Women’s Volleyball League, and local men’s divisions. The club regularly organises tournaments and competitive opportunities for players of all levels throughout the year.

Training and Community
Junior Volleyball Training Sessions
Ashcombe Volleyball Club offers structured junior volleyball programmes for boys and girls aged 10–18, welcoming players of all abilities and experience levels.
The club also competes in national junior competitions at Under 15, Under 16, and Under 18 levels.
Adult Volleyball Training Sessions
Adult players are always welcome at Ashcombe Volleyball Club on Thursdays, whether recreational or competitive.
The club provides opportunities for both experienced players and newcomers looking to get involved in volleyball in Surrey.
Coaching & Referee Development
Ashcombe Volleyball Club is committed to supporting the wider volleyball community through professional development programmes for coaches, referees &volunteers
Regular training courses and development opportunities are available for both members and non-members..
